Sri Lanka is one of the world's largest producer of desiccated coconut (cocos nusifera). The Ranfer Range of desiccated coconut is processed through dehydration to achieve preservation under hygienic conditions. They are available in various grades. Ranfer is also the only exporter of coloured desiccated coconut.

Ranfer selects its grades only from fresh, matured coconuts. Desiccated coconut is the dehydrated form of white coconut meat cut into the various desired sizes and is available in granules, flakes or shredded strips. Desiccated coconut is most ideal for use as fillers, toppings and as ingredients, especially for food manufacturers.It is a top-favourite by various industries requiring the natural and exotic taste of coconut, such as bakeries and confectioneries.
